By downloading, installing, or using the Saddle application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Saddle is a social platform for horse owners that provides features including ride tracking, barn community management, social posting, event coordination, and weather information.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
• One person may not maintain more than one account

4. User Content

• You retain ownership of content you post (photos, text, ride data)
• By posting content, you grant Saddle a non-exclusive license to display it within the App
• You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to content you post
• We may remove content that violates these Terms or is reported by other users

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Post harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content
• Harass or bully other users
• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Use the App for commercial spam or advertising
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure

6. Ride Tracking Disclaimer

Ride tracking features rely on GPS and device sensors. Saddle does not guarantee the accuracy of ride data (distance, speed, route). Ride tracking is for recreational purposes only and should not be relied upon for navigation or safety-critical decisions. Always prioritize your safety and the safety of your horse while riding.

7. Weather Information

Weather data is provided by third-party services for informational purposes only. Saddle does not guarantee accuracy of weather forecasts. Always check official weather sources before making decisions that could affect your safety.

8. Barn Communities

• Barn owners/admins are responsible for managing their barn community
• Invite codes should be shared only with intended members
• Saddle is not responsible for disputes between barn members

9. Intellectual Property

The Saddle app, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of Saddle and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written consent.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Limitation of Liability

Saddle is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saddle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
